Sprint launched the HTC Touch Pro a few days ago and available for sale now at BestBuy. However, good luck finding one as it appears it’s already sold out in many of the stores. What happened to the recession?
Anyways, I was lucky enough to get one and took a few pictures of the phone. I have not turned it on but from the looks of it, it’s a beauty.
- HTC Touch Pro
What I like:
The construction itself is built very well. It’s sturdy and has slick, metal panels on the sides.
The keyboard has a nice matte feel to it.
Nice size, not too big, not too small to do all your tasks.
What I don’t like:
The touchscreen on this device is not like the iPhone or G1. It’s the old-school touchscreen where it activates based on touch, not on heat. Thus, using the touch motions is not as smooth as the other phones. Luckily, the screen is not as based as the other pressure touch screens like the Treo.
Lack of active application market.
