Los Angeles posted a video today talking a little about Korea Town in Los Angeles and how “special” Western Ave. was. I thought this video did a poor job at describing the culture in Korea town we see today. All I heard was hearing about the good energy on Western Ave. repeated several times throughout the video. As for the Buddhism, I’ve never seen a Buddhist temple in Koreatown since I was born there. All I see are Christian and Catholic Churchs (a little too many) sprouted throughout town. Also, if this is a video from Los Angeles Times, I’d expect them to have someone with better english narrate the video. I’ve seen kids on YouTube produce better videos.
