Google Voice allows free incoming calls. If you have T-Mobile FAV5 or a similar plan (Verizon), you can choose your Google Voice # to be one of your fav5 and have friends reach you at your Google Voice number. This way, all your incoming minutes become free (until your provider finds a way to block this). The hardest part of this is getting an invite to Google Voice. Luckily, I have one 
How do you make it so Google Voice displays it’s number on the phone and not the source number (caller ID)?
You have to hit the setting in GV that makes the caller ID display your GV number always. A small price to pay.
