as of october 11, 2007, i will officially be unemployed. i will be leaving my firm as a sr. consultant and pursue a different career path. i an on absence on leave for 3 months but more than likely, i will not return.
during these 3 months, i will do the following:
1. study for GMATs and other exams/certifications
2. take a break from my high school -> college -> full-time work sequence.
3. become more active in my stock trades
1. study for GMATs
i haven’t yet decided if i want to go business school. i just want to take my GMATs for the sake of taking. if i don’t take them within the next 6 months, i don’t plan on taking them ever. if i do go to business school, it will be because i am bored and the economy is broken.
2. taken a break
this break is much needed. rarely, have i had a break since entering college. i have gone to summer school every summer since high school throughout college to graduate as soon as possible and start making money. so far, i’m satisfied where i am and how far i’ve come. i feel a break is well deserved before taking my next run that will not stop until retirement.
3. stocks
i’m getting pretty good at trading. although i haven’t made much, i think i have the potential to excel. sometimes i trade and i make a lot and other days, i lose what i’ve made. i just need to fix my bad habits and hopefully, i’ll be able to retain those nice earnings. not only that, investments is exciting. i can read up on company’s’ financials, charts, etc. and not be bored. amazing… only thing that compares to this is my excitement for gaming back in jr. high.
hopefully, by the time i write my next entry, i will have said i made enough enough and post entries of my comments on my stock picks for viewing of friends and family.
till then…
